This special election has three combined polling places that may be different from where you typically vote in a General Election.

Vote Absentee

Voters who are unable to vote in person may choose to vote by absentee ballot. Absentee voting allows you to cast your ballot in advance of Election Day.

Once your application is submitted and approved, your ballot will be mailed to you with instructions for completion and return.

Vote early by mail:

Completed absentee ballot applications should be mailed or delivered in person to Morrison County Auditor/Treasurer, 213 SE 1st Ave, Little Falls, MN 56345.

Absentee ballots must be received by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, to be counted.

Vote early in person:

Early voting via absentee ballot will also be available at the Morrison County Auditor/Treasurer Office located at 213 SE 1st Ave, Little Falls, MN 56345 on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. starting Friday, February 27, 2026 through April 13, 2026.

The Morrison County Auditor/Treasurer Office will be open additional hours for in-person early voting on:

  • Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • Monday, April 13, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

All polling places are open 7:00 am to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. You can find your polling location using the Secretary of State’s poll finder.

Bethel Lutheran Church:
Combined Polling Place located at 901 W Broadway, Little Falls, MN 56345

This combined polling place serves all territory in Independent School District No. 482 located in the City of Flensburg, the City of Little Falls, Ward #3, and the City of Sobieski; Culdrum, Elmdale, Flensburg, Green Prairie, Pike Creek, Swan River and Swanville Townships; Morrison County, Minnesota.

Initiative Foundation:
Combined Polling Place located at 405 1st St SE, Little Falls, MN 56345

This combined polling place serves all territory in Independent School District No. 482 located in the City of Little Falls, Ward #1 and #2; Agram, Belle Prairie, Bellevue, Buh, Little Falls, Platte and Ripley Townships; Morrison County; and St. Mathias Township; Crow Wing County, Minnesota.

Randall Community Building:
Combined Polling Place located at 531 River Rd, Randall, MN 56475

This combined polling place serves all territory in Independent School District No. 482 located in the City of Randall; Cushing, Darling and Parker Townships; Morrison County; and Little Elk and Turtle Creek Townships; Todd County, Minnesota.

Referendum Results

The results for the 2026 Little Falls Community Schools Referendum have been tallied, and neither Question 1 nor Question 2 passed.

While this is not the outcome we hoped for, we want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who participated in this process. Your feedback and your votes are vital to how we shape our district.

Our mission to provide an excellent education for every student remains unchanged. We will take time to reflect on these results, continue our dialogue with the community, and determine the best path forward for our facilities and our children.
